About Starquest
As the U.S. warms to the idea of online sports betting, the NCAA has taken steps to protect its athletes. Deputy General Counsel of the NCAA, Naima Stevenson Starks sat down with Calvinayre.com’s Becky Liggero Fontana to explain her organisation’s stance towards betting involving student athletes and maintaining the integrity of those competitions.
Stevenson Starks shared those concerns that the NCAA has towards online sports betting in the U.S.:
“The two [concerns] are the integrity of athletic competition, and how that could potentially be impacted by a proliferation of legalized sports wagering. And then the second is really the health and well-being of student athletes.“

Blueprint has been explicit about the commercial thinking. Alex Naspe, marketing director at Blueprint Gaming, said: “Building on the success of Triple Action Cash Strike, we have welcomed the return of the pots mechanic, showcased through a vibrant display featuring fireballs with a series of modifiers for a heightened bonus experience.” He added that the studio expects the title to “further strengthen the series’ position within our portfolio and deliver another engaging addition for our operator partners and their players worldwide.”
The release underlines Blueprint’s ability to introduce fresh iterations to a series players already know
That framing positions Triple Power Cash Strike as a portfolio-reinforcement play. It’s no break with the studio’s established output. The release underlines Blueprint’s ability to introduce fresh iterations to a series players already know, blending new features with mechanics that have proven their worth. For a franchise already earning across multiple regulated markets, that is the point. Extend what works, and keep the series in front of both operators and returning players.

One Foundation’s operating licence was suspended for six days after the DIA identified accounting failures relating to gambling proceeds, as well as a failure to surrender a licence for one of its pokies venues when required by law.
The DIA also issued new financial guidance for class 4 operators, with the aim of providing greater clarity on their accounting requirements and an explanation of their obligations.
The department said the guidance had been designed to “improve consistency across the sector and help prevent similar issues from occurring in future”.
